Generally, you can include your family in your visa application. However, visa requirements differ among various Australian visas, and one answer doesn’t apply universally. For instance, with a Working Holiday Visa, you cannot bring your child to Australia while you hold that visa. In contrast, a Permanent Skilled Migration Visa allows you to include your spouse and children.
Another example is the Employer-Sponsored Work Visa (482). If your employer agrees to include your family in your application, they can apply as well. However, if your employer agrees to sponsor only you, your spouse and children can’t be part of your application.
The requirements, restrictions, and costs for Australian visas vary based on the specific visa. Therefore, it’s essential to discuss your individual situation with one of our experienced immigration specialists.
