DAMA Agreement South Australia to sponsor skilled workers

DAMA Agreement South Australia – Updated DAMA’s Occupation List for South Australia

DAMA Agreement South Australia has obtained a range of new occupations under the DAMAs with a major focus on agribusiness, forestry, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing and motor trade occupations.

This update was officialy posted on the Migration SA website on the 21st of February 2022.

Further concessions have also been secured including:

  • lowered work experience for AQF qualification holders, which will assist highly skilled international students
  • further English language concessions for some occupations
  • increased age eligibility to 55 years in some occupations
  • an expanded pathway to PR for all skilled workers

The South Australian Government continues to act as a skills assessing authority for occupations that currently have no alternative skills assessing authority.

This will allow previously ineligible occupations to now be available for skilled migration.
